Litoral - Folk-pop in Catalan
2:11 PM
Litoral is from Madrid, Spain. It means coastline in Catalan (a language spoken in Andorra, Spain and various parts of Europe). This band plays Catalan folk-pop from which bands like Antonia Font and Manel have made a name for themselves. Now, Litoral is following in their footsteps with music that is instrumentally rich and lyrics that are a beautiful reminder that life is full of simple pleasures. A four song Ep was released on September 20, 2010 in Bandcamp that contains the songs "A la vora del mar" and "El nostre meridià de Greenwich privat" that are featured here.
Band Members:
Ivano- Lyrics, voice, ukulele, Spanish guitar
Manu- Viola, sampler, drums
Edu- bass, ukulele, production
Pablo- cajón flamenco, various percussion
Guillaine- metal.lòfon, omni chord
