The Sandwitches - A 60′s Girl-Garage Band

The Sandwitches - "Baby Mine" from Echolocale on Vimeo.

***These two songs are from the new album released March 29, 2011***
The Sandwitches - Joe Says by One Thirty BPM

The Sandwitches - Lightfoot by dajani1984

From sunny San Fransisco, The Sandwitches have stolen my heart with their new album called, Mrs. Jones' Cookies. I have always liked their music, but there is something about the new album that keeps me playing it repeatedly. These ladies are currently signed with record label Turn Up Records. Previous to this album they had only released their debut album in 2009 called, How To Make Ambient Sad Cake, and an Ep called, Duck Duck Goose!

LooCeeDee - "Electro Glam Rock"

Lucy Dalton is, LooCeeDee, and she is ready to rock you with her Ep called, "Nip It In The Bud".  After being the lead singer and a guitarist for the band Teasing Lulu, she has decided to go off on her own. She reminds me a little of Blondie, but then again it could be just me.

Foxes In Fiction - Home recordings that the spark imagination

Foxes in Fiction - Judy Is a Punk (Ramones cover) from Warren Hildebrand on Vimeo.

Both of these songs are found in the album Swung From The Branchesin (Jun 29, 2010)

Foxes in Fiction is Warren Hildebrand from Toronto, Ontario. In an interview with Quarter Inch Collective, an independent record label, he recalls starting to play the guitar at age 11. At the age of 15, he adapted the name Foxes in Fiction. His uses home recording equipment, and records in his apartment. The result are stunning songs that sparks the imagination with acute loop-based hazy pop songs that reflect on the life's experiences.

Heidi Happy - Folk from Switzerland

This video is from her latest album.

A catchy little song from her first album.

Priska Zemp is Happy Heidi, and she is a multi-talented instrumental musician. Born into a musically gifted family, she is able to continue with the tradition by embarking on a solo career. This was done back in 2005 after participating in many bands as a teenager. In March 11, 2011 she released her second album called "Hiding With The Wolves." I was not able to find this album in Amazon or iTunes, but was found it in Bandcamp. There you are able to listen to the whole album with the option of purchasing it.

Wolf Gang - Reclaiming Pop Music

WOLF GANG // LIONS IN CAGES from dave ma on Vimeo.

From London,  Wolf Gang is really Max McElligott, an energetic 24 year old that is here to redeem pop music. Already, his song "Lions In Cages" is a hit in the United Kingdom and getting significant airplay in BBC Radio 1 and XFM. McElligott's music is inspired by Talking Heads, Roxy Music, and David Bowie. He just released his self-titled EP and followed by his first album called Suego Faults. He will be appearing in this year's South By Southwest (SXSW) Music Festival. Also, watch for him in a city near you headlining his own show or opening for Florence And The Machine, Miike Snow, and The Naked And Famous.

"Pop's had a bad name but it's high time it was brought back into the fold as meaningful and cool." - Max McElligott

Alina Orlova - Lithuanian poet, singer, and musician

Two songs found in the new album.

I have been following this lady's musical career for a while now, and I really admire her voice as well as her piano playing. Her second album entitled Mutabor should be out for release on April 11, 2011 in the US, while it was released in Russia July 9th, 2010. Mutabor was met with praiseworthy reviews by Afishaa bi-weekly Russian authoritative publication magazine on entertainment, culture, and arts. Her songs are generally full life and passion sung short poems in her native Lithuanian, Russian or English

The music, precisely as a result [of its novel minimalism], sounds totally uncontrived. It has a playfulness that's employed not for the sake of showcasing Orlova's craftsmanship; instead that playful spirit embodies... well, to be honest, a kind of magic. - Far from Moscow

Litoral - Folk-pop in Catalan

Litoral is from Madrid, Spain. It means coastline in Catalan (a language spoken in Andorra, Spain and various parts of Europe). Band Members:
