Mirel Wagner is a 23 year old singer/songwriter, born in Ethiopia and raised in Espoo, Finland. Since age 16 she's writing gloomy Blues and Folk songs, stripped down to the bone. It's just about her airy but rough voice and a minimalistic guitar picking. Avoiding theatralic gestures effortlessly her music has a unique intensity and emotional weight.

Islet - Sound/Noise Experimental Rock

Islet is a experimental rock band that make a sound/noise which combines elements from all of these bands, a squalor of noises, guitars that bend out of shape, immediate and demanding percussion, loud and quiet fragments of song, off-mic shouty voices, sweet and sour vocals.

What I like... Friends - My Boo

Julian Lynch -A mix of Jazz, Folk & Psychedelia

A new song from the album Terra released on April 26, 2011.

Lynch is a 26-year-old PhD student in ethnomusicology. Julian Lynch was swept up in music at a young age. He spent his childhood pounding out tunes on the piano, learning the clarinet in school, picking up the guitar, and playing in various bands throughout high school. The album's numerous styles — jazz, traditional Eastern folk, Americana, rock, Western pop, drone, psychedelia — has cultivated Lynch a number of fans. Terra is Lynch's third album that he has released.

Tropics - Warm Synths Sounds

Listen to his new album found in Bandcamp.

Tropics is Chris Ward, a British producer and multi-instrumentalist in his early 20's.The music he makes weaves vintage sounds, the Rhodes keyboard (an instrument associated with Jazz fusion sits central to the songs on this album), alongside banks of old synths, software and guitars, live drums and electric bass. Tropics is a suitable name for Chris’s music as each song is like a warm analogue jungle of sounds, drawn into focus by Chris’ naive singing voice and his knack for a lush melody.

The Sunny Days - Melbourne is ready to rock

The Sunny Days from Melbourne, and formed in May 2011. They just released their first EP called Paris Syndrome. I definitely enjoyed the music from this band, and looking forward for more.
