Jamie Woon - A little Electronic-soul

Jamie Woon - "Night Air" from lorenzo fonda on Vimeo.

Jamie Woon is from Clapton, London, who sings a cross between electronic, R&B, and soul music. He comes from a very musically talented family, in which his mother was a backup singer for many well known artists. Woon has seen success with a few re-mixes and dubstep singles. He is signed to Polydor Records, and is now releasing his new album called "mirrorwalking" that should be out April 3rd. Jamie has been chosen as one of the hottest artists in 2011, making No. 4 in the acclaimed BBC Sound of 2011 poll. That is quite an honor for this young artist whose music is said to be similar to Andreya Triana and James Blake.

Anbuley - Afro-Electronica Vocalist

Bert On Beats "Suomo" feat. Anbuley from Man Recordings on Vimeo.

This is the first song from her newly released 12" single.

This talented lady was born in Vienna, Austria to Ghanaian parents. Her parents moved there in the 60's so  her father could continue his studies. She was proudly named after her grandfather, who was the chief in Ghana. Growing up she listened to African and jazz music. Later in life, she returned to her homeland where she would pursue her music career. She has been working with dubstep producers and using her musical talents to make a type of Afro-tribal-house. She just released her 12" single entitled Tsakemo through Seayou Records. This lady's voice definitely caught my attention at first listen.

Oskar Linnros - Going his own direction

Oskar Linnros - Från Och Med Du from dentarg on Vimeo.

The first song from the album:

Oskar Linnros began his artistic career as a rapper with the alternative hip hop duo called, Snook. After seen success with their musical venture, the duo slit up, and each went their separate ways. Linnros decided to persue a solo music career, and in 2010, he released the album "Vilja Bli"(Will be) with Universal Sweden. According to the Swedish tabloid, Aftonbladet, Linnros wanted to aim his musical approach to the mid-70's by listening to Al Green. Within his musical writing he tries to be brutally honest with himself and his feelings. So far, he has had great success, and he promises that this is only the beginning for him.
